Michelle Monaghan was born on March 23, 1976, in Winthrop, Iowa. Real Name: Michelle Lynn Monaghan. Michelle is an American actress. Her parents are Sharon and Bob-John Monaghan. She has two brothers. After graduating from high school, Michelle made the trek to Chicago to begin a degree in journalism at Columbia College. Although her studies interested her, the harsh realities of the business did not. Monaghan met Australian graphic artist Peter White at a party in 2000. They were married in August 2005 and live in New York. She gave birth to daughter Willow Katherine White on November 5, 2008.
